#hcsm – September 21, 2014

  1. 1 patient does not represent all pts. How can we learn from single patient experience w/out stereotyping others in future?
  2. Do HCPs crowdsource information online to help make a diagnosis? Why/not? Could they?
  3. Is it fair to ask a patient if they are engaged in HCSM or use rating sites? Does this bring bias into the consulting room?

Don’t forget – if you’d like to submit a topic for a future #hcsm chat, you’re welcome to! Read the details on the different ways to submit a topic for a #hcsm chat. Also, if you missed the chat, or want to add additional thoughts & feedback to the above discussion topics, leave a comment & keep the discussion going!
