#hcsm – August 14, 2011

Watch the live #hcsm stream from August 14, 2011 at 8pm Central here (new window). If you missed the chat, you should be able to come back and scroll through it again, any time. (Availability of archive depends on how Twitter API is working during the chat. I recommend searching for #hcsm directly on Twitter in real-time to watch/participate in the chat.)

Topics:

  1. We talk a lot about e-patients & how they use HCSM. But what about others who haven’t stumbled across the right patient network? Do pts have to find their own way using SM? Can providers (and are they) introducing SM to patients who could benefit? How?
  2. How many healthcare orgs (hospitals/phys offices/etc) have a mobile app? Why? What and how do you measure benefits?
  3.  What makes a health app helpful? And, how do you feel about FDA regulating the creation of health apps?
